Hello,
Can anyone help with some advice on forks for Kona Four. I have a set of Marzocchi 44 TST2 140mm and wanted to put them onto the Kona. Will this work?
Thanks.

You need to measure the steerer tube to see if it is the same (or very similar length) and see of the brake mounts are the same size / distance apart.
Also you should check that the travel of the new forks is within the manufacturers recommendations. My Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0 -
I'm no bike building expert but would probably need a bit more info on the forks/bike before committing to an answer
Eg. have you checked the fork diameter/steerer length
Also will it affect the geometry of the bike ? what is on it now?On One Inbred 456
On One Inbred SS0 -
the kona four is a 100mm travel bike, so i wouldnt put any more than 120mm max on there, so no, its not a good idea, the forks will slacken the headangle, and probably brake the frame.I like bikes and stuff0

Thanks for the answers. Geometry looks like it will be the main issue. 100mm now 140mm on my suggested.
Thanks again.0 -
top tip read the rules.
thanks.
also give more info like what the current forks are!
and as it is a 100mm XC bike 140 is too much but 120mm at a squeeze.
