Hello,
Sorry for the stupity of the question but I am about to buy a pair of tubeless compatible Shimano MT65 wheels.

Can i use tubes with them? Is it just a case or removing the valve stem that comes on the wheel?

Alternatively, how much are decent tubeless tyres (say 700grams all round tyres) and how easy are they to fit and repair when punctured ?

Cheers

Nick

The MT65 can be run with tubes (I've got a pair sitting in my bedroom waiting for me to start my new build :D ) yes you just remove the valve and fit normal tubes and tyres.

Cheers. Do they look as lovely in the flesh as they do in photos ?
How much did you pay for them ? The cheapest I've found is Merlin for £190 delivered.

Can't help you with price as I also got mine from Merlin, they're a nice looking wheel with sort of a satin effect finish, they look better in the flesh than they do on merlins website, the white lettering really stands out from the black of the wheel.

Thanks. They are to go on Commencal Superteam HT in white/gold so I think they 'll be a good match.
    Take care.
