And how are we all today?

Anybody up to anything particularly earth-shattering today?

Good Morning all you figments of my demented imagination!

Today, I'm in the office all day. Which does suck a bit, but then there's a Cafe Nero round the corner, so expect caffine induced chaos later. :D

Also, an early finish, so much fun to be had later playing TR1 for the Grandson's benefit.

I am giving serious thought to going home at lunch, grabbing the frankie boyle dvd i have and take it to work so i can watch it this afternoon. (pretty quiet this week in the run upto chrimbo)

was thinking about nipping out and getting the car washed also.

  • Meh, got hospital appointment at 12.30.... then home and probably do sweet FA today.

May give the steeds a polish up (God knows why, they have seen no action but I get some strange sense of satisfaction doing it)

Then I may take Andys porn round to him as I couldn't do it last night...!:lol::lol:
  • I'm at work all day. Fun fun fun, but I'm in a good mood, so huzaa!!

I'm going to have a chat with my boss in a little while about bringing in my PS3 and hooking it up to the projector in the lecture theatre and playing it on the 30ft screen 8) It is Christmas after all
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

  • At work all day, might start writing my speech for wedding at some point, then maybe a bit of Xmas shopping, then if I have time maybe some work.

There's talk of snow back at home so might be brave tonight and go do some MTB drifting. Failing that a quiet night in earning some going out credits.

Another day in the office, same old. The only difference is parcels coming at me from every direction when I get home from all the xmas shopping I have been doing
  • Well, I'm working from home today. Popping out in a second to pick up my frame from the LBS.
It's my daughters 4th Birthday today so we'll be having a little party later on.
Then after the kids are in bed I'll set about putting my bike together. I'm off work tomorrow and friday, so hoping to finish building tomorrow and get out for a ride on Fri
Life is goooood in the CWNT house :D
  • So we can expect a post from you later about 1 of the bits you've bought for the build not fitting something else and the whole thing's gone wrong?

Not that I'm trying to make you worry or anything......

  • Nah, made sure everything fits elready. But you can expect a post about how I broke something because I'm a ham fisted ape or how indexing is going to make me go mental and butcher my entire street.
  • Go singlespeed? No indexing issues and the "purists" will then welcome you into their freaky little fold.

Scrap that, just butcher your entire street, you'll still be considered less of a freak.......

  • I'd need both my thumbs removed before I even considered going singlespeed! Even then, I'd still rather mount the shifters to the saddle and use my butt cheeks to change gears

You know, you might just be onto something there! Think of the weight saving using less cable? Less cable to snag/drag? Cleaner looking cockpit?

Gripshift might need a bit of a rethink though...
  • Another day at the office...followed buy Christmas drinks with the guys from upstairs - which means we finish half hour early :)
Some chump forgot to buy the office milk (might have been me) so i'm drinking black coffee :(
