Rear mechs

I am looking at rear mechs. I see a shimano LX581. Anyone know what size of back block this is limited to, if at all, or suggest similar rear mechs( shadow) around the same price?

that rear mech isn't a shadow one (but i guess you knew that).

They are decent enough, You could get a Deore or SLX one for about the same sort of money if you look around.

They inc. the LX one are made for a 9s cassette, but you can use them with 8 speed, or even 7 just fine, as long as you have the right shifters. Sram stuff isn't compatible btw.
