Hi does anyone know about Colnago sizing. I've had an offer of a Colnago C50 which is a 50cm sloping. I haven't went to see it but the guy who is selling it is 5ft 11" and says that he prefers a smaller bike. I'm just a little worried that it might be too big for me. I'm 5ft 8" so there is a bit of a difference. He says that he is between a 56cm and 54cm frame.

Does anyone have any advice, the bike is 2 years old with ful dura ace and a set of Zipp 404's.

Thanks

Not sure if it's comparable, but I'm 5'7" and use a 47cm sloping, which is the equivalent of a 53 horizontal. Would at a guess think it's a tad big for you. Can you not try it for size?
  • I have to travel up to Belfast but I have got the feeling that it is too big for me and don't want to waste the journey up as its a round trip of 120 miles. Its a shame as the money's not too bad and I think the guy would maybe deal a bit to get it cheaper. Thanks for the advice.

    I'm 5' 8". I have a 46cm compact frame and a 54cm standard frame...

    Mr A recently sold his C50. He had a 52s (so 56cm). He is 5ft 9.
