I'm looking for a set of (full) mudguards that will fit my Giant FCR.

Any luck getting mudguards to fit this bike?

Thanks.

SKS or similar will be fine with up to 25mm tyres (even 28mm tyres at a squeeze).

If you want cool looking minimalist 'guards then the Crud Road Racers are great, but won't keep as much crap off the bike as some SKS 'guards (with mudflaps)
    More problems but still living....
  • Thanks for the advice. I'm concerned re the lack of space for the mudguard, i.e. between the fork and the chain-stay bridge/rear.

I've looked around, and Giant do their own guards for the Defy, which is similar to the FCR, http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/22039/Giant_DefyAvail_Mudguards_Set.

I use SKS 'guards on my SCR2, which AFAIK is the same frame/forks as the FCR.

  • That's great, as I'd prefer the extra mudflaps that come with the SKS mudguards.

    Thanks.
