Just a quick update, all parts now glossed, going to build up the front wheel tonight hopefully, and put it together for some 3/4 way photos before getting the frame powdercoated.

front wheel now built, only took me just over an hour for the front, i'm getting quicker.

How do you find the crank bro's QR?

They look nice enough and I want some red ones too... don't fancy hope after the dismal seatclamp.

the white wheels are guides for the sprocket, look pretty cool!

preliminary testing shows the CB QR work really really well, as advertised.

How did the welding go for the frame? Actually been thinking about doing this myself these past few days. Did you see someone about doing it or was it a DIY project?

The jig i borrowed from a mechanic at work.

I then got some friendly engineers i know to machine up the new slotted mount and weld it into place. Piece of pie really.

Sorry, there has been some progress, but i've been mentally busy. I really need to get the lefty steerer sorted before i send the frame off to be powdercoated.

I've just come into enough cash to send it to argos rather than having to strip it myself and send it to the local powdercoaters, so do i go pearlescent or gloss white?

i'd go pearl white as i'm a tart, BUT! it'll look creamy rather than white!

hmmm that is an issue, should be stripping it to go to argos this weekend, particularly seeing as i've finally managed to get the last part for the build ordered...

Frame has just gone to argos for 2pack epoxy, new decals and lacquer.

Expect things to come to a climax soon, it's then going to be displayed at my lbs for a while!

Just got my white inbred back from Argos cycles with a new respray as i had some work done on it. Fantastic job they did really pleased. Have a look at this thread and you can see the picks of it.
