Hi Guys

Does anyone have either of these? I'm less bothered about breathability as I ll use them of cold winter night rides but I am worried about how they ll stand up to a crash or two as thats how I ve ruined the last 2 sets of waterproof bottoms....

Obviously I'm leaning toward the Enduras as they re half the price!!

Cheers

  • If you need waterproof pants, then don't buy the Gridlocks, mine just p@ss through!

I sent them back to a large Internet retailer complaining how poor they were, and had them returned saying they didn't claim they were waterproof!!

Just use them for cold days now, and wear my e-vents for rainy rides.

To be fair, I think the Gridlocks will take some stick (damage wise) but I'd forget em for wet weather riding.

Just my personal experience, not gospel for everyone.

hmmm interesting! I did have the benefit of trying the Enduras on and I seem to match their funny shape! I have used the 50 squids version of the 3/4length shorts but they ripped in several places after a 2 years use and then disintergrated at the crotch

the Alturas also seem to have funny size reviews though!

Altura Attack 3/4s have great adjustability in their sizings. And they work.
