Which headset to fit a tapered steerer into a 1.5" HT

I'm in need of a headset that will allow me to run a 1.5" to 1.125" tapered fork steerer in a 1.5" headtube and I'm having difficulty finding something suitable. It's to fit a 2009 RS Lyrik Coil into an Uzzi VP.

The Chris King Inset seems to do the trick but I keep hearing bad things about CK headsets and at £130, I'd want it to be perfect.

Then there's the FSA Gravity, I can't find any information about this headset at all and the thing that confuses me is the 55mm OD requirement.

Cane Creek are now offering tops and bottoms separately so I could use an XXcII top with an XXc bottom. This is only offered in the US at the moment and I'd need to import.

Lastly, there's the option of buying a reducer for the top cup and buying a headset designed for a tapered headtube.

So my questions are;

Has anyone else had the same problem and how did they tackle it?

Are there any issues with running reducers, it seems like a bit of a bodge to me?

What sort of customs fees can I expect if I was to import bike parts to the value of ~ $130?

Anyone got any other ideas of how I can sort this?

Cheers!

Dan
