frame bushes ? ? ? help needed please

hi my name is jason, i have a schwinn straight 8 downhill bike, its my first dh bike but the BUSHES have worn down over time and need replacing, they seem to be made out of copper or some sort of metal, how would i go about getting them replaced and fixed. ? ? ? thanks to any 1 who replys with advice thanks jason

    if you have a fox shock just get them of mojo, i reckon they do a harder D/h type but have a look and all you have to do is send them the name of the bike model etc and they will send the right ones for your bike :) .
    oh one thing though fitting them is a bit triicky but can be done at home with a couple different sized sockets and a vice :wink:
  • I used a G-clamp to do the ones I couldn't get to the vice. It would be easier to use one of those ratcheting bar clamps though. They can be bought for less than a tenner at Homebase.
