Hi,

I've got a Kona cindercone 2008, the rear mech hanger is goosed and i need a new one. Is there a guide/chart to find out what model of hanger to buy?

Can anyone help?

I could go to my LBS but i was thinking that i might be able to get one off the internet cheaper if I could work out what i needed.

Go on the BETD website, they'll list which models each hanger is for.

  • Just a bit of advice in case you go down the path of BETD (I think that's what they're called).

I bought one for my old Bianchi ML3 and it's certainly looks better quality and is more sturdy than the original but I had to take a file to it to get it to fit nicely into the dropout. It wasn't a biggie but the mount hole and dropout were about a mm off and there was no way it would fit without taking some material off the back (curved) edge. Use a fine file and take it a bit at a time if yours is the same
