Double and bash questions

I have a Zesty 714 that came with a lovely XTR chainset.

I want to convert to a double and bash and I am wondering if any chainrings will fit, i'm looking at replacing the inner as its beginning to wear and i am going to a 36 middle.

I have noticed that when looking at chainrings on line that there seems to be XTR specfic ones, is this because normal ones won't fit....

I was looking at putting Middleburn hardwearing ones on, will they fit?

if you get the ones with the correct bolt hole spacing.

which XTR are your cranks?
