Juicy 5 Pad Replacement

I've searched the forums but can't find this problem elsewhere.
The old pads on my juicy 5s were pretty worn and on a good descent the rear brake failed big time. The old pads flew out.
I've replaced them with some new Avid pads but I am unable to clip them in place. They sit well but do not clip in place so when riding the pads move out of position.
Do you think I've damaged the brakes? What can be done? Any ideas what the problem might be?
Many thanks
Chris

they can only really go in in one way as there us the locating pin on the piston and the spring retainer for them to clip into.
I would say that you just need to try refitting them again."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thanks for the reply.
Tried refitting and jiggling them around. They sit well but the locator pin on the piston doesn't appear to be clipping in.

When I first took my Juicy pads out I didn't realise that there was a pad spreading clip that I needed to use (it was still in the calliper). Hopefully you're not as inexperienced as I0

Thanks for the posts. I've replaced them without problems on a good few occasions so I've investigated further.
It looks like the locator pin on the centre of the piston on one side has been sheard off.
Can you buy repacement pistons? Is it worth just finding a new caliper?
Cheers
