cyclescheme limit £4950 - happy days

Just discovered my work's cyclescheme has a limit of £4950!!

That opens up a lot more options now! It was a nice suprise as I work for nhs...

    Are you sure that's not the size of the cyclescheme budget for the entire NHS? ;)

    In my part of the NHS we are limited to £1000 and have just two weeks to apply for our money from a total budget of £12,000

    Guys & thomas hospital.

    All other hospitals I've worked at have the usual £1000 limit

    Does that £4950 limit have to be spent on a single bike? :lol:

    Or could you get a nice bike for all seaons? eg.
    Titanium framed racer
    Titanium framed hardtail
    A nice understated Trek District (now available in colours other than "nick me orange") or similar fixie/ss

    Ooo, the possibilities!

    Just hope for your sake that you don't get a "mint" bike and then discover Guys have a cyclescheme snitch who reports which employees are not using their salary sacrifice bike for at least half of each week! :twisted:

    I thought it was only places that held a consumer credit license that went over the £1k - sounds like you got lucky.

    It is only if there is a consumer credit licence that the £1,000 limit can be increased. My company has a £3,600 limit (used to be £3k but I raised it due to the current price increases :wink::D )
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
