Hi All...

Does anyone know where there aren't any brake cable ferrules included with Campagnolo cable sets?

You get x4 for the gear cable but these are too small for the brake cable so I always end up having to use some spare plastic ones!!

Bit annoying where they cost so much or am I just missing something?

You don't need brake ferrules with the new shifters.

You don't need brake ferrules full stop.
  • Are you really sure?

Nearly all frames are designed with cable stops and it seems silly not to tidy the end up with a ferrule?!

Without a ferrule the cable wont fit so well in the cable stops and they also help prevent crud getting down the outer housing.

Well, there's a reason they don't supply them.
  • I'm not saying that they are required, but it does seem sensible.

Why have cable stops that are designed to accommodate a ferrule? They are exactly the same stops that are used for the gear cable and they uses ferrules. It makes sense to tidy and protect the end of the cable housing.
