Thought it felt a bit wobbly!
Trying to avoid a flooded road, I took a short cut up a rather rough lane. I sometimes take my bike up this lane - never had a puncture with the bike here though
Guess my Racing Ralph is tougher than my Maxxis car tyre
Damn this weather!

I had one up the Alpujarras once
and nobody wants that! :?0 -
I had a front tyre blowout at 70ish - the handling was definitely a bit rubbish as I wobbled to the hard shoulder. Properly sh4t me up.
Got runflats now - no sudden punctures but lots of tramlining.0 -
Runflats sounds like a good idea!
Maybe I should stick to proper roads in future, or get a 4x4 - esp. if this weather continues
At least mine was a slow impact - wouldn't want it to happen at speed or anything, I'd cr*p myself!http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss9/ ... lurLT2.jpg

It's pretty scary - done a lot of driver training but not been "taught" what to do. Just tried not to brake and steered as gently as possible. The tyre was wrecked.0

All you can do I suppose!
Hope I haven't dednted the wheel or anything  My brother's gonna sort it out for me.... he can fix cars, I stick to tinkering with bikes (badly)!http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss9/ ... lurLT2.jpg

Had a blow out on the motorway years ago (in my XR3i)!
Hit a chain and took out both passenger side tyres & then straight into the barrier. Going backwards down the motorway at speed with cars coming towards you is exceptionally scary! It was rush hour on Friday the 13th!
Re: your tyre, if you have driven any distance it will be knackered. Better to be safe than save the cash - so go get a new tyre!0 -
I had a rear tyre go on my motorbike once, but the weird thing is that it's not immediately noticeable on a sportsbike. I got to the next corner and tried to put the power down and the thing nearly tied itself in knots, bucking and weaving like a pleasure beach donkey on acid!
Single scariest moment of my adult life.0
