I'm after a pair of waterproof spd shoes. I have a budget of about £100.

I bought some non-waterproof ones and went out in the rain a couple of weeks ago, my feet went totally numb and cold due to the water soaking and i ended up causing myself an injury as i couldn't clip out quickly enough!

I'd prefer ones that go up the ankle a bit more to stop the water seeping in.

Any recommendations?

also get some good quality pure wool hiking socks, your feet can be sodding wet, but you dont even realise untill you take your shoes off, becouse they keep your feet totaly warm even when wet. highly recomended.
    I like bikes and stuff

Or Sealskins socks, waterproof, and even if water gets in the top, it stays there and keeps you warm like a wetsuit.

  • gore tex boots and decent socks.
  • shimano mt90 winter SPD boots.
    waterproof, windproof, breathable, warm, comfy,
and great if your ride turns into a 'hike-n-bike'

I've got a pair, they may not be up to the standards of the fashion police, but trust me they performs brilliantly

    +2, me and the missus.
Hunt around, you might get a good deal somewhere as the big S now have the new version (mt91) out. RRP at a whopping £150. (we paid £50 & £80 for ours but that was last year and this summer) They are brill.
    A bike..in my garage.....I MUST tinker.
  • Thanks all.

I can't get overshoes as i stupidly got a pair of sixsixone filter shoes and they are big.

    I'll have a look into the MT90 & MT91. I've been looking at these:
