Blur lt 08

My mate has just picked up a Blur lt 08 frame with no rear shock . Could anyone itell me what shock would best suit this frame as he has no idea on sizes dimensions etc i read rp23 190 mm 50mm is there any others?? :) cheers then

    If so its:
    7.875”x 2.25”
    Front mounting hardware is 22mm wide with an 8mm through hole
    Rear mounting hardware is 18mm wide with a 9.53mm (3/8”) through hole.

    Thats the one! thanks for info he's checking the bay now for bargains.. still pricey second hand rp23's is there a cheaper alternative..?

    Newer Rockshox Monarch get decent reviews. It depends if he wants Pro Pedal really, I quite liked the feel of the Blur LT with it off, in which case the Float R or RP2 would do the same job.

    R - 1 valve, this can be open or pro-pedal
    RP2 - 1 open value + 1 pro pedal valve
    RP23 - 1 open value + all 3 pro pedal valves

    On the R and RP2 the pro pedal will be one fixed value, for example my Meta has the stiffest valve set up by default.

    Aside from that, when using the same valve, the shocks are virtually identical.
