crud catcher

hi guys, anybody know if there is a front crud catcher available for specialised hardrock?. can't use standard as cables run under downtube :x cheers
mountain biking is only fun until someone gets hurt..........................then its bloody hilarous!!

    I wouldn;t bother, they're not that effective anyway. The ones that go near your crown brace, and stick out in front of the bike, above the front wheel work better, as they stop the wheel spraying crap forwards and upwards, which you then ride into.
  • dont really like the look of the ones that stick out the front. might have to manufacture something to make a standard one fit :)

    I use a standard crudcatcher on my Meta, cables are under the downtube as you describe. I don't have any problems.

    More effective however is my diy bit of innertube stretched between the fork arch and crown. Like a cheapo Neoguard. Stops spray and muck coming off the front wheel from hitting you in the face.

    Crown/brace blocker is very effective.

    Downtube crud catchers sites between the 2 cables with no problems on my Carrera.
