Avid Elixir 5's - Disk Rotor Question

Hi
Ive recently purchased a set of Avid Elixir 5 disc brakes from merlin for my 456 build ... Only problem being they come with 160mm rotors which is no where near enough to stop me !
Now my question is after looking around for disc rotors ive bought a G2 Clean Sweep 203mm rotor off a fellow forum dweller for the front ... After looking at CRC on the G3 rotors listing it states "Compatiable With Avid Elixirs" Now am i being paranoid hear or will a G2 rotor work with my brakes ? I cant see a problem but surely they wouldnt put it in the listing if it didnt matter !
