Hello
I am currently using Alex XCR 100D with Shimano Deore hubs on my mtb, sometime next year I would like to upgrade to possible Mavic Crossride UB/Disc wheels which they came second in the wheels test out of 19 wheels in August mag, issue 99, they cost £170 for pair and weight is 1971g.
Good move to upgrade or the wheels I have is good enough?
Thanks

Your wheels are not too bad - to see an appreciable difference you need better than the Crossride. The XCR is as light as the Mavic X717, a good rim.
Crossrides can be got cheaper than that though.0 -
Tell them to send one to me for free and I'll measure it ;-)0

Cheers supersonic for the advice, I guess I will hang on my wheels now.
