Hi,
Been riding for about 6 months now, looking to upgrade from my heavy and unreliable starter bike.
I want a hardtail for use mainly on roads, sometimes on trials.
My budget is <£500. So far I have been looking at '09 GT Avalanche 1.0 and Focus Fat Boy.
I want rock-solid reliability.

£500 will get you a decent hardtail 8) have a look around for a higher spec 09 model bike as the 2010 models are here now.....bargains out there, you might get a £800 bike for £500 etc.......roberts dogs bolx
