Shimano ST6600 Levers

I have just bought a Lapierre with Ultegra SL groupset and was wondering if it is possible to route the gear cables along the handlebars so as to leave the hoods clean of cables which just look like washing lines!! The levers are ST6600

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not using standard cables. Some have done this using the Nokon cable system but it still leaves a short loop from the lever.
