Best Bike out of These?

I am a total beginner but have been keen on getting into mountain biking for a while.
My company will soon be joining the bike to work scheme so I thought I'd take the opportunity on to buy my first bike.
After having a little look around I think I'll get one of the following bikes:
Ridgeback MX5 2010
Carrera Fury 08 or 09
GT Aggressor XC1 or XC2
Boardman Sport 09
Which of these would you recommend and what would be your order of preference?
Thanks in advance

Would recommend you stick with the 120mm bikes with bigger hydraulic brakes then, so the fury is a good choice, there are a few others in similar price ranges. Good forks help even on 100mm but are reasoably easy to upgrade, so gettinga decent frame and kit can be more sensible.
but testing a few out is a good bet, even if you cant try the right bike, find one with similar kit/geometry and see :idea:0 -
Depends what you mean by downhill but there's not one of those which is a downhill bike, nor anything else at this price range. The Fury's a superb allrounder though, can't go too wrong with one of those.Uncompromising extremist0

Looks like the fury got a good review from what I can see mate.. Boardman always gets excellent reviews for the price you pay..
So between them and It's all down to what feels good for you...0 -
xc and DH are two totaly dif things, but for all round, i would sugest the Fury, or the xc1I like bikes and stuff0

As mentioned above, for a decent all round bike which can take some abuse if necessary, can't really go wrong with a Fury2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon
2014 De Rosa R848
Carrera TDF Ltd Commuter0
