simple question tbh need some new forks and cant decide on either revelations or fox 32's. looking for fixed travel i.e. non uturn or talas. i know fox are expensive so im leaning towards the revs.
many thanks

The Revs are cheaper, lighter, more adjustable, stiffer, easier to service...0

I prefer the Rev to my Float 130 RL. Stiffness is what did it for me.0

tanks guys, im mostly converned about damping and stifness tbh, ive got some toras atm and tbh they are briliant, though i know sonic will disagree
plus ive heard the motion control damper on revs gets overwhelmed by repeated hits is this so???0 -
Sonic is actually a big fan of Toras.
I reckon there's a definitely "different" feel between Fox and Rockshox damping - but I've mostly compared long travel forks and I'm not sure if the same holds true of shorter models.
I'm definitely not a fan of the damping in pikes though.0 -
RS have revised the Motion Control system on higher end forks with Balck Box and XX systems which run a dual flow rebound system.
Dunno why they don't drop Mission Control into the Pikes and Revs and give us a high speed shimmed damper.0 -
+1 RS
I had exactly the same dilemma and went for Revelation at the end.
I believe that Fox may have some performance advantage (damping) but RS is better when it comes to reliability, durability (stanchions) and servicing.0 -
thanks for the input guys think im gonna get some rev races, tho i could might till the teams come down in price, get the blackbox damper then
oh just one more thing white or black???0 -
ive had fox floats/vans and revelations and im still stuck on the revs, superb fork, just rebuilding my yeti with the 2010 versions after selling my 09s, pretty much fit and forget unlike fox's and there silly service intervals and sloppy bushes.0

After advice off Supersonic i bought some 2010 revelations and they are spot on. Went for team air u turns with a maxle and they are great.0
