Noob inner tube question

I bought an inner tube 700 x 28/38 by accident. My tyres are 23. Will these be no good to me?

i didn't realise 700c inner tubes were different sizes.
Drink poison. Wrestle snakes.

    I think it will be too big, but then I know nothing and always just tell the staff what wheel I have and let them pick it up!!

    Yes it will be too big and I did the same thing not so long ago :roll:

    If you dont want to pay through the nose, you can buy from here
    as they are a very good price.
