Hi, new to the whole mtb thing, basically discovered I had flat feet a few months ago (I'm 41 !!) and that my knees (or rather quads etc) were wrecked, no power/muscle there at all, so, need to build up all my leg muscles - have been out on my Trek6300 past 3 months and love it, but a post on here caught my eye about pedals etc and the fact that clipless ones pull up, which should help my hamstring strength....so, being an absolute noob, can someone recommend a set of pedals and shoes that would fit on my bike, and I then promise to post details of all my embarrasing falls when I forget I have to 'unclip' :-)
Thanks
Thanks

those pedal should be fine,
what type of shoes are you after..... do you need them to be waterproof and warm or do you just want cheap ones?0 -
The shimano m520's in the post above are cracking value and a very good start. Ref shoes, what size r u, got a old pair you can have for free. There size 13's though :oops:0

Thanks for the response so far0
