New here, been lurking for a week, wanted to make a first post!

Commuting home last night in the dark (I do a 38 mile round trip with both ways in the dark at the moment) and went past a pub in a not particularly nice area. Few people hanging around outside including a women in her 40's who appeared to be a bit (well a lot actually) under the influence. Being nosey I glanced over as I rode past and her eyes made contact with my 180 lumen helmet mounted light that was on strobe at the time. "What the f**ks that all about, what you doing" she shouted at the top of her voice as I rode past..the people with her laughed, and I must admit so did I! Any distraction from the norm is welcome as long as it's safe!

Great banter on the forum, loads of useful tips too. Struggle to let the day go past without logging in...well done!

I imagine I do look a prat, but that's the nice thing about getting older and being confident within yourself, I don't give a monkey's chuff!

Point is to be seen, and sooner or later you're going to be seen by a complete moron.

Better than not being seen though...
