Alright guys, im just wondering which tyre would be best for the type of trails i ride. I ride trail centres in Scotland, like Kirroughtree, which has a hardcore surface, and some rocks/roots. Its usually wet too
I run Panaracer fire XC,s now, but a mate said i sould try high roller 2.1,s as they stick like poo poo to a blanket

    I don't like HR's.

Pana Cinder's a good alternative in 2.25" guise.

i found fire XC much better in wetter conditions rollers are ok until it gets moist. Mind you i now run 2.0 Conti mountain kings and the grip even more .

Fire XCs are quite a low profile tyre, so quick, light and fast rolling and good in most conditions but for Scottish trail centres I usually stump for something a bit beefier 2.25 Nobby Nics or 2.35 High Rollers for a bit more comfort and stability.
