Bike storage indoors

I'm after something to keep my bike off the floor in the house (needs to be hanging up above pushchair/buggy/kids bikes.
The catch is I'm in a victorian house (very high ceilings) and the wall sounds fairly hollow, I had originally planned on getting some sort of wall mounted bracket.
I've been looking at indoor bike racks and the floor to ceiling ones look good, anyone with experience? what should I be looking out for!

you can fit brackets to plasterboard walls but you need to use the right plasterboard fixings. Normal rawlplugs can be pulled out.
There are also hooks and pulley systems out there for bikes. I've not used them but these may be suitable. Hook the bike on and pulley it up out of the way. Just hope the kids don't undo the rope.....Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
I use a Delta Leonardo hook for all of my bikes. Absolutely superb - takes up minimal room and easy to fit.

If you're going into thin walls, even special plasterboard rawl plugs won't be enough (I once tried to put up bookshelves using those - the plugs stayed in but the wall around them crumbled - it looked like someone had taken a demolition ball through my bedroom!).
You will need to use a stud detector and make sure you anchor any hook you use deep into the stud using a good quality screws (the longer the better).0
