for those driving in it might be a better idea to meet at the Velodrome ? theres a car park there too :)

    Let me know your thoughts

I'm a definite possible :) , think I'm free but will need to check with the oracle.

Velodrome sounds good, especially if you can arrange a session on the track and a meeting with VP

Could I get to the Veldrome easily from Alderley Edge or Macclesfield without a car?

Having never been there I am not sure but I understand the Velodrome is close to Man City's ground. If so, we might have problems meeting there/ using their car park as City are at home to Hull City on the 28th Nov: Kick off 3pm.

There's always the likes of Parrs Wood, where the cinema complex thing is, which we could meet up at. There's loads of parking there too.

Excellent - looking forward to it :D
  • As the last one went soo well its time to arrange another, due to mental work/home commitments I would like this on to be 30-40 Miles around Manchester, taking on very few hill (of course LOL) on Saturday Nov 28, With something like a 10 am start.

    So whos in ?

    Hi gb155

Have you room for another rider? mind if I join you lot?

I don't get much chance to ride out on Saturday's and when I do it is usually on my own. not much fun getting lost on my own!

Iv'e been reading about your blog btw and was well impressed with all you've done and managed to acheive with the Blackpool run etc. Very well done mate.

I'm losing the pounds myself but can't seem to lose anymore. Down to 12.5 stone from just over 14.

If you don't mind me coming along I can be there whatever time/date is decided. I can keep up with an average of 16mph but any slower will be nice :)

Yes, I remember seeing A.N.T. at the Manchester skyride main event. I hung out with them whilst they did a couple of circuits. Great bunch of guys but too quick for me. Lol.

Cant remember who the other chap in shot is though.

    were you there too?

  • Can I come on my sit up and beg or will I spoil the aero look of the roadies? I can poddle along happily at 12mph. is it still an 11 start,

I'll be riding down from Oldham if anyone else is coming from North Mcr first.

Gaz, you sure you don't want to take a quieter route to Tatton Park? I came back that way on my ride on Saturday and it was proper congested - I wouldn't fancy leading 20+ riders down that way on a Saturday midday.

Cheadle -> Wilmslow -> Knutsford (sort of route) would probably be a lot quieter, might be a couple of miles more though.
