boardman bike sale ?

do they ever have sales , reductions ect ? if so at what time of year ? looking at team carbon pro .

Halfords do have sales, not sure if they'll include the Boardman bikes, though.
Why not ask instore?...

On the basis that they can't keep up production to suit demand I can't see any reason why they need to stimulate sales with discounts.

if anything the prices will go up for the boardman bikes i reckon.

They do occasionally have sales on Boardman bikes, but not that often. You may be lucky and get a reduced '09 bike when the 2010 models hit the shops.

will ask in shop , but are they going to tell you ? will wait till new tear bikes come out , theres always discounts then

They've already gone up by £100 to £1,599 so cannot see why they'll be putting them in a sale, obviously got very good demand for them.

Can't find any shops with them in so will be surprised if they discount but you may get lucky if Halfords have a general Christmas sale and there's a store with them in stock. I know someone who got one last Christmas reduced for the sale and because it was 08 stock so a very good price but that was for an aluminium. The carbon appears to be rarer than rocking horse sh** with hen's teeth in it!

I would be surprised this time, with the demand,,but just to add,,,they did say there would not be a 2010 model as such, they will just continue with the existing range. So far we have had a price increase on the pro carbon and a special edition white team carbon.

Discounts are usually offered to get rid of stock when a range is about to be superseded so if the current range continues into next year there would be little point discounting them.

When this years range came out they did reduce the old Boardmans. At one point you could in theory pick up the Road Comp for as little as £450.

Halfords were going to let me buy it through the cycle to work scheme too which would have been crazy value! (Until I found out that my works scheme wouldn't use Halfords).
