Crank arm help!! urgent!!

well have you seen on some crank arms where the pedal screws into the crank arm there is a little metal piece in there which can be taken out, i need that as mine is buggered, i've got a truvativ crank

basically the part i am looking for screws into the crank and then you insert the pedal in that and screw it on there

I cant work out what part you mean, as far as i remember on my truvativ chainset the pedal screwed through a washer, directly into the crank arm
ive still got it in the shed, if the part you need is there and compatible you can have it.0 -

Is it the silver insert that you threaded?! I think there replaceable on Raceface cranks not sure about Truvativ....[/url]80 x 80 is not enough pixels!!!!

Thanks a lot guys for all your help after hours of late night hunting i found out they were called pedal inserts, i can't buy any so i had to buy a new crankset of chainreactioncycles.
