Going to be based in Scotland(Kilmarnock) for a week from Saturday
Someone has already suggested a day trip to Arran which looks a great idea
Any other suggestions or GPX routes
Looking for 50-100 mile rides ideally with a few hills

Normally take the mountain bikes(Peebles/Ae/Mabie/Kirroughtree etc) so don'y know the roads

Thanks in advance

Cycle down to Wanlockhead/Leadhills for a good outing. Or try Kilmarnock, Tarbolton, Ayr, Brown Carrick Hill, Maybole and back. Straiton, Glentrool is also good. Check routes on Bikely (access 'routes' above). Also, see routes on walkerscycling.co.uk
I live in Kilmarnock and could give you 100 routes.

The round the forth route is 80 odd miles, not too hilly, and some stunning views.

You can get the route map from the Tourist Information or on line
