I think I started all this by suggesting that the OP stopped using his rear brake as his main one. I also said he should learn to balance the brakes to gain maximum effect. I am not of the 'do not brake in corners' brigade but in the kill off most of your speed on the straight and brake as little as possible during the corner one. I am often still on the brakes as I go in to a corner but nowhere near as hard as on the approach and also, if possible never after the apex. It is all about learning to brake more efficiently and carry as much speed through the bend as you can.0
