I've had mine about 18 months and its been worn many times (as you would expect in Sunny Leices). It does keep you dry even in heavy rain. The only time it's let me down was when it was raining that hard the rain was bouncing up off the road, and I was out in it for over an hour and a half. It understanably couldn't cope. But then for £50 am not complaining.
The only down side is it can get a little warm in mild weather.
