Did I buy the right rims?

My rear wheel (D521 on Deore) is borked so I've ordered a new XT hub on Mavic XM317 with DB spokes, handbuilt from Merlin. I ride mostly singletrack and general XC riding; no big drops/big jumps or anything and weigh 15 stone.

Thing is, I'm a tiny bit worried I may have bought a rim that's too soft. Anyone else run these rims that isnt a whippet?! :?:

    same weight, same riding and have a pair of these but with a 525 hub, very good, will be ideal.

    Sweet, that's put my mind at rest, cheers! Gonna look a bit weird with the D521 on the front but who cares eh?! :roll:
