Removing 7 year vinyl decals

Does anybody know how you remove 7 year vinyl decals? Can it be done? Toxic chemicals and the like....

    Try to heat it up. Hairdryer may do the job nicely.

    a small amount of pertrol - i used to use this to take decals off of golf club shafts...

    If they've not been lacquered over, hairdryer first to help peel them off, then whiite spirit to remove any glue residue. It can be a time consuming process though.
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
