Sintesi 707 Frame Owners, I Have Quesions

Couple of questions regarding the Sintesi 707 frame as I am thinking of getting one to tide me over for now.
Is this a pure xc only frame or is it more trail orientated? Ideally I want something that can handle rough runs with roots, holes, uneven ground etc and can take small jumps and drops. So its more a question of how strong this frame is.
For now I will be putting the items off my bike onto the frame with the exception of the chain and I would like to know if the tire clearance will handle 2.35 tyres as I have a set of minion dh single ply on a set of halo combats.
Can this frame handle the 120mm forks like Merlin state as on Sintesis site the 707 comes with 80mm forks. There's also no tech doc on the site stating max fork length.
Does it climb well? verys I know but roughly, good, bad?
Lastly, well for now at least the sizing on Sintesis site throws me off a bit as the Dim is 18, but the set tube length(c-t) is 445 which is 17.5, the Dim 20 is 475 which is 18.7. Merlins also has a 19" frame yet there's no mention of this on Sintesis site although the Dim 22 is 495 which is 19.4 so maybe I wrong and the Dim isn't the size in inchs. Better still could someone who actually has the 18" measure the seat tube length c-t.
Probably go with the 18" if I get one as my brothers avalanche is a medium which is around 18" last I checked.
Thanks

well with combats and a 120mm fork it will climb badly.
cant rember the clearance but will see if there is a 707 frame in the shop in the morning."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Cheers.
Can't climb any worse than the frame and setup I have now. Jump frame with the seat post as high as it can be. Fine on flats and down runs but a pain in the back side on any hills. any thing that's slightly steep and a longish I normally have to walk or go so slow I might as well walk it.0 -
well, then it seems like its going to be a comparitive winner then!- Kona Hot '96 - Marin Rift Zone '09 - Cannondale Synapse Carbon '06 - Kona Caldera '98 - Kona AA '94 - Dawes Kickback II - Cannondale BadBoy '11 - Genesis iOiD SS -0

Fair point. Still got to find out the tyre clearance, if nick doesn't have one if the workshop i'll just email Merlin see if they can tell me. Maybe someone else on here who has one might know.0 -
nope, sorry no 707, just got a 991 and a viper."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
