Can anyone recommend a good LBS, for repairs and servicing within 20 miles of Lichfield?

Cycling2000 in Burton-on-Trent (http://www.cycling2000.co.uk) were very helpful when I needed a stuck bottom bracket removing from my Cannondale - I service my own bikes, so can't comment on that side of things, but they're run by enthusiasts and seem to be very knowledgeable.....

It should be just less than 11 miles to Bridgetown Bikes, just off the A5 near Cannock. They have a good workshop for the most part, though I did have a friend who had to keep taking a cheap pair of Bontrager wheels back for broken spokes. I tend to think that it was because they were cheap Bontrager wheels rather than the quality of the work done to them.

To err is human, but to make a real balls up takes a super computer.

Bridgtown lads are brill as are Fred Williams in Wolves, use them both regularly and can't fault either of them.

  • Thanks for the responses. Bridgtown looks a good bet as its only a small detour to work.
