faulty Light & Motion Arc Ultra - anyone?

Fellas,

I've got a faulty Light & Motion Arc Ultra which won't ignite so I think it's an issue with the bulb. I've tried contacting the US but they aren't replying to my emails. Has anyone had issues with theirs, if so what did you do - they have a UK dept but they aren't getting back to me either and I can;t do any kind of night riding without them!!!

Sounds to me you do indeed need a new bulb, here's two links anyway one with and one without the glass dome, whichever your light needs.

Afraid not, those links are the wholesaler that l&m use themselves, in that mtbr thread some have replaced the ballast and the board with an uprated ballast as it means you get more output and a better run time.

Anyway have a nose through the thread it's a good forum, believe me $30 is a bargain for a hid bulb but be warned it could also be your ballast playing up.

I'm pretty furious about this situation now.

I wrote to the US suppliers of light and motion asking them how I go about getting the light fixed and they told me to get in touch with Maddison, which I've done and I get no reply. They told me it was going to cost about $130 to fix the light which I think is a f*&king joke considering I've used the light once...

I seriously wish I'd never got these lights, yeah they're bright but if I knew about the massive f*ck about to get a bulb changed then I wouldn't have bothered..
