warped disc repair

hi guys, its not something ive heard of but a mate told me that the bike shop he got his bike from used to fix warped brake discs. is this really possible? if so does anyone know any online companies who can do it?

tried that, but couldnt get it right.. i bought a new disc in the end. i found the old one in the work shop the other day and i thought id ask so i could keep it as a spare2009 Viper Carbon XT > my rides < 2009 Marin Wolf Ridge 6.90

Adjustable spanner, thumbs, and a good eye can get most wobbles sorted.You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
