Hi all,
I have been riding an old PUCH racer for a couple of years and have decided i need something less scruffy and higher spec (the puch has shimano mechs and a BIOSPACE chainset!)
rather than taking the easy option and just buying one I have been buying bits and a dfreind and me intend to put it together. I am at the stage of buying my front mech and gear levers now and the campag veloce mech says it is braze on but can be modified for band fitting. will i have to physically braze the mech onto my bike or what?
i would imagine that this is a real no brainer but i have no clue at the mo

Most band on front mechs can be fitted to a clamp-on adapter which come in 2 sizes, 28.6 & 31.8mm.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Braze on means that the frame has the brazed on fitting already.0

You need one of these:

or
http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/ProductDe ... SNAGRSZ200Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0 -
thank you all
