If anyone has bought any of the super bright LED based torches for night riding and is wondering where they can buy 18650 Lithium based batteries cheaply and chargers cheaply...
If you have an old laptop - you might find as I did that the battery pack for the laptop holds 6 18650Ds. If you are careful when you take it apart you can even salvage the casing as a 6 cell charger.
Typically each cell is about 2.2Ah which if you have 700mah - 1000mah driver will give you around 2 hours on top output.
