secteur v allez

would just like to know the differance between the secteur and the allez range. is the secteur slower??? i am looking to do some racing this year.

i have the option of an allez for £530 or a secteur sport for £500.

wot do you all think???

    dont know about racing on an allez. but i use my spesh allez sport 08 (replaced quite a few of the parts) for my own rides & sportive/charity rides. i had a quick glance at a secteur at a lbs, didnt like the long headtube. you may want something like a planet x pro sl for racing. just try out some bikes to find out what suits you

    The Allez has a more race like geometry between these two bikes, the Secteur has a more relaxed geometry aimed at those long rides with comfort in mind.

    The best advice is test ride both these bikes, see which one feels right as this will determine which model you should go for.
