Bit frustrated as I wanted to watch the U23's but not on eurosport. Anyone know why?
Is it on any highlights does anyone know?

    Live feed here: http://app.nos.nl/wielrennen

Dunno why Eurosport aren't showing it. Neither are the BBC.

  • It's been on RAITRE since 3pm, so there should be a feed somewhere.
    I'm recording the race..............again.

Just over a lap to go. France's Romain Sicard and Michel Kreder from the Netherlands are out ahead. Peter Kennaugh is the only Brit left, I think.

Is Sicard going pro next year?

    Sicard signed for euskaltel.

Sicard goes solo. This'll be an incredible ride if he pulls it off.

  • I assume that there's no room in their schedules, as they're covering the World U20 football & World Superbikes.

Bloody hell... first the Shimano neutral service car is going too slow on the decent and Sicard nearly has to overtake it... and then 1km later the same car comes past within 6cm of the guy and nearly knocks him off... :o

Let's hope it's actually his, otherwise he might get another 2 minute penalty!

Although watching this, he could well win by more than 2 minutes anyway...

Who was 2nd? Venezuelan? Egor Silin from Russia got 3rd.

    Some ride from Sicard, though.
  • Excellent effort. A very respectable 4th.
    Something to smile about :D
Fingers crossed for the big boys tomorrow now
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?
  • Nice victory salute, machine-gunning the crowd, very Alan Partridge...

Replying to myself... Betancur Gomez Carlos Alberto from Colombia. Hopefully he doesn't go the same way as the Colombian winner from last year.

Speaking of which, apparently the Colombian team doctor from last year was Alberto Beltran - the same guy involved in that Liberty Seguros bust earlier this month
  • Allez Sicard!

I wish I had been able to watch some of this. This guy is going to be a good hope for the French in the years to come, yet riding for a Basque team I'm not so sure how that will work...

    Glad Kennaugh got 4th.
