Mavic CXP21 wheels - 2 broken spokes

This week while descending down a bumpy lane i managed to break two spokes on the rear drive side of these wheels. There was a mighty twang noise and i knew exactly what the problem was.Fortunately i managed to release the rear brake and limp the ten miles to home. The next day my lbs supplied me with two spokes that i managed to fit and true the wheel up.
My question is this likely to happen again to some of the remaining spokes or was i just unlucky? The bikes done approx 6000miles and i feel i`ve lost confidence in this wheel.I weigh approx 75kg so not particulary heavy.Sometimes i`m 50miles+ from home so i don`t want it happenning again.
I`m now looking into replacing both wheels with some that are more durable. They don`t have to be the fasted but they do have to be strong as i average 150miles a week.Any recommendations with a budget of £200 for a set?The wheels are on a Giant OCR with campagnolo 9 speed gears.

it's not luck, it's the quality of the build and to a lesser extent the quality of the spoke.
As for whether it'll happen again, who knows. Those two spokes could have been overtightened but the rest are okay. Nobody knows the future...
You can either keep going and cross your fingers, or get it re-spoked by someone who knows what they're doing, or buy a new complete wheel.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
