Hi all . i,m new to this site and road riding, even though i do MTB cycling.
I was wondering if anybody in the Gloucester area fancy,s meeting up for a ride at
the weekend.I own a Claude butler road bike and have done the odd 40 miler with friend, but that is far and few between because of their other commitments. I consider myself
fairly fit for a 50 year old. so I would like hear from anybody else in the same predicament.
What do you meen you did not see me.
I,m the pillock in the Hi vis top.

if youre reasonable fit - you might find it easier to look up your local club. Don't be put off by the reputation clubs have - ie superfast guys on £4k bikes - most clubs have a ride that will suit yoy.
  • thanks for that, what does your missus say to you having that fine bike in the lounge. lol

They ain't that gullible. They will know. The knowledge is being stored for use against you at a later date, or they're feeling too guilty about shoes/handbag shopping (& the difference between actual & claimed expenditure) to say anything.
