Nice routes near Aberdovey, Snowdonia?

Im off to Aberdovey in Snowdonia to do my week mentoring for Outward Bound in a few weeks and have a few hours on the first sunday that would be ideal to explore the area on my road bike.

I'm not that experienced on hills, so i'd hope for nothing too vertical, but I'd like to see what I am capable of without giving myself an impossible challenge this time out.

Anyone know the area? Any recommendations of must do's or don't even go there's!!!?

Just about anywhere except the coast road should be good - but you won't have much luck if you're trying not to ride up hills.

might be a bit further north than you are looking for but http://www.cyclingnorthwales.co.uk/pages/rides_routes.htm has some great routes on it, two weeks back I did the Cwm Pennant ride which was stunning (even in the wind & rain). Wales is great!
