I am fitting my reliable Deore disk brakes to my winter On One inbred which requires the rear hose to be retained by lugs welded to the frame, fine but to get them through I have removed the end from the brake lever get the old olive off and remove the small end insert. I have had to loose 20mm from the overall lenght for a clean start bought new olive and insert but I am unable to refit the small end insert its tight as hell even the origanal is mega tight. Anyone any ideas or tricks up there sleave.

clamp the hose in the two yellow hose holding block and then tap the insert in.

    As shown in the manual.
"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
